Mechanical Design Engineer - West Yorkshire - £34,000 to £42,000 Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This client is an established manufacturing organisation that are based West Yorkshire area. They are a global market leader in what they do and apply their expertise in various sectors worldwide. Resulting from a period of continued growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Design Engineer to work on specialist Mechanical Engineering projects associated with a diverse range of markets. You will be part of a fantastic team and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously The successful person will be an experienced mechanical engineer with a degree in mechanical design engineering or equivalent. Essential: -Mechanical Engineering Degree qualified (HNC/HND Considered) -FEA use Capability, and ability to determine stress loads and manufacture accordingly. -Competent on a 3D CAD Package -Create engineering drawings from the component through to manufacture and fit for use -An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles -Have knowledge of the qualities of metals and other materials -Producing innovative, optimised, well engineered solutions to varying design problems -Experience with large industrial mechanical machinery/structural design -Complete understanding of Pneumatic/Hydraulic design -Ability to undertake detailed design calculations Beneficial -Reverse engineering experience -Member of, or working towards Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) -Minimum 4 years engineering experience within a similar industry -Industrial experience in metal forming and transformation sectors Benefits -Long term development and progression opportunities -Pension scheme -Company bonus For consideration, please send your up to date CV to Mudiwa Mtungi at Huxley Associates
