Design Engineer / Project Engineer

Qualifications Critical knowledge · Technical education to degree level in specialist mechanical subject. (Knowledge of chemical manufacturing technologies an advantage) · Project management and engineering methodology covering option development and evaluation, definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. · Knowledge and application of reliability ( and lean concepts an advantage). · Substantial Engineering knowledge and experience in specialist discipline, e.g. PED, PER, PSSR, Mechanical Atex Legislation · IT awareness and application Critical experience · The job holder must possess an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical engineering functionality, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment (5+ years) · Have a minimum of 2+ years experience of engineering project delivery · Experience of managing and controlling staff, controlling budgets and understanding financial tools and analysis · Member of an appropriate professional body If you would like to find out more about this or any other position advertised please send your up to date CV to Natalie McEwen at Huxley Associates.
