Design Engineer - NX

Contract Mechanical Design Engineer / NX / 6 Months Fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer to join the process development team for a 6 month period. Working with the production engineering team, the duties of the role include updating and reverse engineering assembly tooling CAD drawings on the TeamCenter/NX Cad System. Key duties: * Creating and making changes to drawings using the NX CAD system * Reverse engineering assembly tooling (jigs and fixtures) * Creating tooling assembly drawings and parts lists * Producing technical documentation of the tooling following practices and procedures Key requirements: All applicants are required to have the following: * An ONC level qualification in a relevant technical discipline, or a part time-served apprenticeship or training level of expertise * Familiarisation with geometric tolerances and use of callipers and micrometers to conduct measurements * Basic CAD Skills (NX Essential) * An understanding of part numbering systems and documentation issue control Location: Gloucestershire Rate: 25-29 per hour Duration 6 Months
