Design Engineer - Memory Subsystems

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DESIGN ENGINEER - MEMORY SUBSYSTEMS to join our client in Hillsboro, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design Engineer will focus on memory subsystem development and performance evaluation.
- Design engineer will develop and refine models of system behavior and project the performance of the future system.
- Design Engineer will drive architecture tradeoff studies, memory controller design and memory device requirements, focusing on controller and device behavior for a novel memory technology.
- Design engineer will also develop system models, evaluate memory system performance and influence hardware or software design.

Job Qualifications:
- MUST have a minimum of the following:
- BS in EE/CS/CE or related subject matter and at least one (1) plus years of experience
- Five (5) plus years of professional C/C++ experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- DDRx DRAM, memory controller design, cache architecture, CPU or graphics performance simulation and analysis.
- Strong technical writing and written communication skills.
