Design Engineer - Medical Devices

Design Engineer - Medical Devices - 12 month contract - Oxfordshire - £200-£220/day

My client based in Oxfordshire urgently requires a Project Design Engineer to assist the Design and Production team in a world-class medical device company.

The candidate will be problem solving in the manufacturing environment, pin pointing root causes and planning solutions with the design engineers. The candidate will be required to produce technical reports. Customer facing is an important part of this role and the candidate will need to be a good communicator and professional at all times.

Essential Skills

- Design background - Solidworks experience
- Experience of high volume manufacturing
- Knowledge of injection moulding
- Experience of problem solving in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of QMS
- Experience working in a regulated environment essential

Beneficial Skills

- FEA modelling
- Direct experience with medical device design and/or production

40 hour working week. Rate depending on experience.
