Design Engineer FPGA

Our client is a hugely popular computer components manufacturer seeking a candidate who can provide FPGA prototyping for their System-On-Chip.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform FPGA synthesis, partitioning, place and Route as well as debug. Work with RTL designer to define design partitioning to multiple FPGAs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 10+ years of related work experience required
- Xilinx Virtex 6 experience a must
- Use of Xilinx ISE, chipscope, Synplify Pro/Premier, VCS simulator
- Knowledge of hardware boards and ability to use debugger, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer
- System Verilog knowledge a must

NICE TO HAVE:

- Software experience such as Virtual Platform (synopsys innovator)
- BIOS and/or Firmware experience
