Design Engineer ASIC (m/f/d)

* Mission:
* Define ASIC/SoC modules in cooperation with System-, HW- and SW team
* Implement signal processing and module core functions based on the requirements with best fit on performance, cost, schedule and effort
* Logic design using HDL approach (VHDL, Verilog) and simulation
* Analog circuit design and simulation (Spice)
* Deliver overall ASIC features with safety and EMC compliance
* Job description:
* Technical responsibility of ASIC core module design
* Analyze, conceptualize and review internal and external requirements and their impact on the ASIC modules
* Create and maintain design documents
* RTL design, synthesis and design verification simulation
* Perform design reviews results to ensure the requirements are met
* End to end ASIC simulation & verification and troubleshooting
* Perform design rule checks, low power checks, clock and power distribution checks.
* EMC compliance design & simulation
* Evaluate performance, area, power, and system cost tradeoffs
* Timing analysis and back annotated simulation
* Design for test including generation of test pattern
* Work closely with design verification engineers

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

* Several years of experience with system, HW and ASIC design, for embedded solutions and in the automotive industry
* Programming skills such as VHDL/HDL and model simulations in VHDL and Spice.
* Experience with vehicle bus systems (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, DSI, SPI)
* Fluent English, good German language skills
