Design Engineer - 12 Month Contract

Projektbeschreibung
Primary responsibilities:
Minimum of 5 years experience in the modification of existing rolling stock, but in particular must have the following: - Able to Produce mechanical installation designs for the implementation of GSM-R cab radio's or similar systems (ERTMS, Public Information, CCTV, WiFi, etc) to pre-determined standards and best practice
- Knowledge of driver controls and general cab layouts
- Knowledge of Human Factors issues associated with the operation/location of cab driver's equipment
- Able to Produce Bills of Materials
- Able to perform Vehicle surveying
- Able to produce survey reports for review/approval by the client
- Current experience of CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred)
- Awareness of depot procedures and site safety
You will also be required to attend depots in Denmark for a fortnight every 3 months to conduct surveys.
