Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The candidate will be responsible for the design of chassis wiring, lighting systems, and electrical system integration in support of new product introduction (NPI) programs and current production improvements for motor graders.
- The candidate will be accountable for meeting all design criteria goals which include time, cost, and quality, as well as, effectively working within a cross functional team environment in collaborative product and process development (CPPD).

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product development or related design experience.
- Must have strong communication skills and possess the ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, as well as, all levels within the organization, customers, and suppliers.
- Must process excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team environment.
- Ability for some travel within U.S., as well as abroad to manufacturing locations in Brazil and China.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong expertise in Pro/Engineer and the Pro/Cabling Module.
- Knowledge and the ability to apply the clients engineering standards and/or industry design standards and specifications.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Hands on operation or maintenance experience with agricultural equipment.
