Design Engineer

Due to increased demand, our client is currently looking to recruit a number of Design Engineers for UK and European based projects. Our client is seeking technically strong individuals, who are experienced practitioners of design and engineering delivery.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design and prepare engineering drawings and ensure all designs are delivered in line with company standards.
Utilise Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Ensure that all technical documentation is maintained in line with company procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to offshore team including project and offshore managers.

Requirements:
Degree qualified in mechanical engineering. Working towards chartership is preferred, but not essential.
Experience using 2D, 3D AUTOCAD and MATHCAD or similar packages
Experience within either the Oil & Gas or Offshore Renewables industry would be preferred, in particular design of offshore platforms, structures or equipment.
Minimum of three years' experience within the design field.
