Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer x4 - leading Manufacturing Company

Due to major expansion from new contracts and projects my client is looking to hire 4 Design engineers to undertake new and exciting projects. My client is a very well known defence contractor who is working alongside the ministry of defence and some major defence contractors giving job stability and a constant work flow.

My client is also paying a competitive hourly rate of £30 per hour and is based in Dorset.

An ideal candidate for this role should have a degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering and have a minimum of three years experience.

Due to the nature of the workload not too many details can be discussed but general responsibilities will include

- 2/3 Cad and other software such as Pro-e and Creo
- Stress calculations, Fea and manual
- Thermal analysis, CFD and heat-flow

Previous defence work would be desirable but is not essential.
