Design Engineer

*New Design EngineerOpportunityWorcestershire* This exciting role is based in the head office of an international manufacturer with a strong history here in theUK. They design and manufacture bespoke material handling equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, metals and renewable energy industries. They are seeking the skills of an experienced mechanical design engineer to join their team ideally with knowledge of structural fabrication and FEA. They are offering a end to end design role working from concept right through to production and as such you will need to work with departments across the business in this varied role. You will also liaise with both customers and suppliers as needed. They are seeking the following skills: - Qualification in Mechanical Engineering HNC/HND or Degree - Experience in industry working in mechanical design - Strong 3D CAD skills ideally Inventor - Knowledge of structural fabrication and FEA - Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics is also beneficial.
