Design Engineer

I am currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (ideally with 2-6 years experience) to join this growing Client who have several patented tools to their name, and who are managed by a team of seasoned industry professionals with more than 200 years of Oil and Gas experience between them. The products that my client develop are designed by engineers, for engineers. They combine innovative design with precision engineering to develop and manufacture a suite of game-changing technology, which enables oilfield engineers to land first time at target depth in the increasingly demanding wellbore conditions faced by industry professionals in this current climate. The skills that I am looking for in an Engineer are as follows:- Design Engineering experience of around 5 years- Downhole Tooling Design experience - Inventor ideally, although SolidWorks would be considered- Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar- Hands on experience with prototype tools- Innovative flair (patents are not necessary but would be viewed as preferential)- Tier 1 Visa for the UK is necessary due to occasional travel This is a role that is highly skilled and offers exposure to the design of innovative downhole tooling, working alongside experienced Engineers who are experts in their field.
