Design Engineer

I am currently working with a market leading design consultancy based on the south coast that are an award-winning firm of international consulting engineers specialising in mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering. They have contacted and informed me of an urgent requirement for a mechanical design engineer on a six month basis. Due to the win of a number of projects they require the skills of a well experienced HVAC designer that is looking to develop their experience with an exciting opportunity. Area - DORSET Rate - £20/22 an hour (dependant of experience) Requirements Below. A Mechanical Design Engineer of HVAC & domestic water systems: - AutoCAD literate would be an advantage - Must be able to use Hevacomp - Must be able to size pipes, ducts, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, etc - Private sector experience would be good, especially in high end residential but not essential - Must be able to commit to our Dorset office 37 hours per week - Possible to consider a Contract to Permanent in due course, or in exceptional circumstances straight to permanent if salary expectations are under £30K. - Would be ideal if the person had previously worked for a Building services Consultancy or had designed for a large Mechanical Services Contractor Please get back to me as soon as possible.
