Solidworks Design Engineer

Duration: 6 months initially

Solidworks Design Engineer sought for an electronics packaging contract role within a defence company in Hampshire. The successful candidate will work alongside a small team of 3 people, and will be capable of thinking on their feet, working autonomously and taking responsibility.

In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

-Injection moulding and/or casting experience
-Experience of electronics packaging for harsh environments
-A proven track record of taking concepts to production
-Experience of design for manufacture
-Experience of liaising with Test Engineers
-Understanding of shock and vibration, and their effect on other processes/components

This exciting role is a fantastic opportunity to take on a position of responsibility within a challenging project. The project launches this time next year, so there is certainly the possibility of at least a further 6 month extension period.
