Design Engineer

This permanent position is for a key client in Greater Manchester, they are a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts and have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural and oil and gas sectors.

We are looking for Design Engineers / Managers to be an active member of the European Design Team responsible for the generation of cost effective packaged product designs and enhancements. To support the Company's business strategies, quality and Health and Safety policies and the sales efforts of the Customer facing business units.

You will ideally have a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product design processes. The ability to question and refine existing design solutions to make them more cost effective.
