Design Engineer

A leading IT Managed Services company has a requirement for a IMS Core Platform Engineer to be responsible for Low Level Design documentation, configuration management, Test Object List and Test Case definition.  The Engineer will also be responsible for management of Platform vendors, support of technical and commercial negotiation with vendors and he/she will be consulted in High Level Design and feasibility studies.

Technical skills required will include:
Engineering background and experience on IMS Core platforms, to include CSCF, SBC, MRF, HSS. Proven knowledge of IMS protocol. Experience in acceptance and troubleshooting activities. Knowledge of ACME and Ericcson products would be beneficial, as well as knowledge of RCSe, VOGE, VMR, OneNet services. Excellent customer facing skills and ability to manage relationships with stakeholder at all levels are essential.

Candidates must have:

- Italian and English on good level both technical and written.
- Team work attitude with a "can do" approach and flexibility to manage customer request.
- Availability to monthly short travel.
- Previous experience in a Telecom company.
- Need to be located within a commutable distance from Milan.
- Duration is minimum 1 year with possible extension.
