An excellent opportunity exists for a Design Engineer to be responsible for the delivery of engineering designs and drawings for a global company that design and manufacture.
MUST HAVE INVENTOR/3D AUTOCAD EXPERIENCE

The appointed Design Engineer will need to meet the following Key responsibilities;

Responsible for the design and detail modelling of a variety of suite components in order to meet the programme requirements
Cost and weight targets must be managed and met
Participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the New Product Introduction process
Generate and/or revise specifications
Participate in the validation of the product (using such methods as prototyping, test, DFMEA)

Personal Attributes required for the job are as follows:

Engineering degree or ONC/HNC in design related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Good team working skills
The ability to work with a low level of supervision and intervention
Willing to travel to support company objectives
Good working ethic
Driving License
