Design Engineer

Due to continued growth having obtained the 21J approval, a leading private aviation company are looking for an Avionics Design Engineer. The Engineering arm of the company maintains a fleet of aircrafts, helicopters as well as servicing clients' aircraft.

They are currently an official Service Centers for several types of aircrafts, and have both FAA and CAA approvals, also issuing Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC). The in-house avionic engineering department provide design and installation services, and can provide avionics equipment as an agent from several manufacturers.

There are currently a team of mechanical draughts men, compliance and verification engineers and stress engineers. You will be the first Avionics Design Engineer opening the door to build a great career with this rapidly growing company, which have also been approached by a major airline for a long term contract.

Key features of the role involve producing Avionic system drawings in accordance with Part 21J regulations. Assist in research of systems and component specifications to asses their suitability for application intended.

Assist with new product design, and preparation of Ground, Flight Test and design certification documentation. AS well as continuously liaise with other department with regards to design queries.
