Design Engineer

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineering and an I&C Design Engineer at the Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, NC. These projects are scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for qualified candidates. Actual pay rate will be commensurate with experience, so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Please indicate your desired rate during the application process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project Subject Matter Expert in Electrical or I&C design engineering work with the team and the vendor of design engineering, project planning & project monitoring and control of those areas, including the installation period

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus
- Must be knowledgeable in PWR Rod Control Systems
- Reactor Head Replacement or Control Rod Drive Mechanism experience (design, maintenance, replacement, testing) is a definite plus
