Design Engineer

The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity to become involved with a growing name in bespoke equipment and conveyor systems. Based in Derby, they are looking to expand their Design and Development team, with an immediate opportunity for a Solidworks & AutoCAD Design Engineer on a 6 month contract basis.

The Role
You'll be responsible for interpreting design requirements and proposing appropriate design solutions whilst producing clear and accurate drawings/models. You'll be working with bespoke equipment and special purpose machinery for prestigious clients in a variety of industries. There may also be opportunities to attend customer sites and represent the company.

Experience
You'll be fluent in both Solidworks and AutoCAD with a good all round mechanical background, ideally with handling and conveyor systems experience. You'll need to be able to satisfy technical aspects of a project from concept through to production.
