Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer (Multiple Vacancies)
Rate: £25-30 p/h (Negotiable)
Location: West Midlands
Duration: 6-12 Months 

The Background:
Due to continued growth and new projects won, a leading name in Power Transmission and Drive System Products is seeking to recruit multiple Design Engineers to work on a six to twelve month contract based in the West Midlands.

The Role:
Utilising your existing CAD skills and knowledge, you'll join the existing Design team to develop several niche products from conception through to production, focusing on projects related to gearboxes and rotating/special purpose machinery.

You:
With a good all round Mechanical background you'll be fluent in 3D CAD (ideally Solid Edge) and have experience of producing designs for manufacture, ideally for products related to Drive Systems and Power Transmission. You'll be able to control the design process from conception to completion, with previous experience in Mathcad or Hand Calculations also highly desirable.
