Design Draughtsman CONTRACT

Draughtsman for successful company producing 2D and 3D drawings for key clients across the UK and Europe. The successful CAD Draughtsman will ideally have expertise in various grades of metals and knowledge with recent experience in producing drawing to BS 8888 and GDT standards.

Using your CAD and design engineering skills you must draught up a comprehensive, flexible set of mechanical design and specialist component solutions. With examples of good and accurate 2D and 3D CAD design engineering models you will be joining a small team in producing high technical state-of-the-art instrumentation and associated mechanical component designs. Previous experience using CAD in the avionics or aerospace arena would be highly desirable.

Experience with working with a wide range of materials would also be very useful. Drawings will be to the latest British Standards.

Skills & Experience required:

AutoCAD and 3D CAD package (such as Solidworks, Inventor, Solidedge, CATIA, Pro E)

Experience with Machining processes

GD&T experience and knowledge
