Design Consultant of Infrastructure

Proteus Europe is searching for a Design Consultant of infrastructure available for a long term position in the Netherlands

Your New role:-

Your profile
You can be responsible for
-Designing the infrastructure Solution:
-Designing/selecting the applicable Infrastructure basic services/building blocks based on the business requirements
-Work with Architects and Technical Experts to contribute to the Solution
-Providing estimations, including:
-Cost Impact in hours and euros
-Defining the infrastructure deliverables
-Listing the infrastructure related assumptions and risks associated with the project/change
-Delivery of Solution Design Document
-Coordinating the Infrastructure Deliverables:
-Act as a technical infrastructure coordinator (as part of the project team) and report on progress/issues to the PM
-Create the Infrastructure work orders and monitor the delivery
-Select/propose the proper infrastructure resources to the PM and coordinate their activities
-Ensure smooth handover to the support teams including documentation
-Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC):
-Act as a SPOC for the (project stakeholders) PM on infrastructure requests
-Inform the stakeholders on Infrastructure projects/changes which impact their area
-Work together with the stakeholders to align the (project/) change pipeline

Service Management:
-Work with suppliers/3rd party to facilitate proper collaboration between the Supplier and the company, but respecting the policies and markers
-Collecting the acceptance criteria when Infra Operations/Support is involved/impacted by project for handing over the project result to the Operation

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
You have the following skills:
- Masters Degree (IT) or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the infrastructure area on project/change processes, project methodology, stakeholder management, etc.
- Experience with ITIL, AGILE and waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, process management and people-skills required
- Proven experience executing in a complex and dynamic international corporate IT environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access),
