Design Authority Team Lead

My Client who have a number of projects that need ramping up, are seeking a Design Authority team Lead, to work on leading a number of other systems engineers and design leads. Ideally you will have a background in systems engineering and electronics. The Project will involve the candidate working hard to bring in place a structured system together so that the end customer can actually See a product and design.

Main Duties

To manage a team of systems design leads.

Be the first point of contact to the customer

Make technical design decisions on safety, compliance through from concept to output.

Challenging methods and approachs to ways of systems engineering.

Configuration management.

Providing guidance for project engineering teams and line management

Also a hands on role as the Design Authority leading the project of a system.

Skills

Systems knowhow in the area of FPGA's PCB cards and electronics.

Use of DOORS for requirements gathering and capture.

Ability to turn your hand to multiple tasks.

The full life cycle of systems engineering.

Ability to obtain SC level clearance
