We are looking for someone who can lead a piece of work to develop a credit card product. This will involve the high level strategy and seeing through the design of the product and servicing. The ideal person will be great at stakeholder management and will have a really clear view on what is it that the client need to make it a success such as the process and how it works.

The client can hold a F2F Thursday Friday this week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Design solutions aligned to product strategy and plan business banking overdraft, loan and credit card products
6 Month contract

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE HOLDER DO? (ACCOUNTABILITIES)

- Lead the design of the customer experience for the product life cycle taking into account NPS, complaints analysis, commercial and risk requirements.
- Undertake review of current state and identify opportunities to enhance propositions and processes and creating prioritization debate for business banking products
- Pro-actively engage stakeholders to ensure visibility of work and buy in at all stages
- Create bench marking strategy for current and future state to understand position vs. competitors
- Ensuring alignment to product strategy and regulatory needs, design scope of work and create robust plans
- Work with Customer Experience, Services and Channels to produce a detailed scope of work, galvanize support and design appropriate solutions
- Ensure all plans and activity are consistent with our Simple, Easy and Fair agenda and deliver good customer outcomes
- Draft business cases and create blue print designs to be handed to the Implementation team to execute
- Comply with all policies, and deliver against regulatory and legal obligations
- Build a strong culture of risk management, working collaboratively with partners across the business. Ensure that conduct, operational, reputational and regulatory risks which exist in the business area are identified, well understood and managed.

WHAT ARE THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO DO THE ROLE?

- Experience of financial services, regulatory and commercial environment or similar
- Evidence of strong proactive stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence to senior management level
- Ability to absorb complex information and develop solutions that are simple, easy and fair
- Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management
- Role models People Standards behaviors
- Membership of Committees & Accountable Chair
- Attend committee meetings as detailed in Products internal governance and in line with P&BB accountability framework requirements
- Present plans and gain buy in from Executive
- It will help if you have card experience but this is not essential
- We need someone who has got a track record of taking a specific project, managing the content and understanding what the problem is and finding the solutions
- Ability to understand processes and systems to identify what enhancements they need to make
- Business SME customers experience would be ideal
