For one of our clients we are looking for A DESIGN AND MIGRATION SPECIALIST (Cisco ACE to F5).
Needed Skills: Cisco ACE, and F5 Viprion//Design and Migration.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31-07-2015 (Option of extension)
Location: Brussels, Belgium & Cologne, Germany

PROJECT/OPPORTUNITY:
The customer is presently using Cisco ACE as the global technology for Load balancing solution across its Data Centres. As Cisco is discontinuing the ACE platform, Global network design Authority (GNDA) was asked to conduct a technical review and,after a successful POC with F5 which took place in November 2013, GNDA along with VS&P selected on F5 VIPRION and BIG-IP platform including the virtual edition as the Load balancing Technology for the customers Global requirement.
ATS selected HP as a global integrator for F5 technologies all over EMEA.
Project is organized in different Work Packages (WP):
WP1 Architecture and Planning
WP2 BIG-IP Infrastructure Build-Out
WP3 Migration of Cisco and Customer Application to new F5 Big-IP
WP4 Role of F5/Integrator
WP5 Project Management
WP6 Project Documentation
WP7 Optional: F5 Trainings
WP8 Optional: ASM Setup Phase
This resource request is done for the Delivery of WP2 and WP3.
PROFILE DESCRIPTION:
F5 Expert for setup of F5 Viprion devices and migration from Cisco ACE to F5 Viprion.
S/he is responsible for the implementation of the solution.
S/he participates to the architecture and specifications documents with the solution architect.
S/he configures the equipment in accordance with the specifications previously validated by you, s/he produces the specifications tests and exploitation documents.
S/he coordinates the deployment by hardware installers.
S/he performs the migration from Cisco ACE to F5.
