Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Analyst

The Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Control and Management Information team are responsible for monitoring the status of OTC Derivatives, ETD and Client Cleared Trades reported to our US and European Regulators. This is performed through the completion of daily position reconciliation process. The Team perform analysis of reconciliation results, investigation of issues highlighted in regards to breaks or timeliness. Liaising with Front Office, Trade Validation, Project, IT and External vendors to achieve resolution of issues identified and working with IT to enhance the reconciliation process. The reporting status and progress is communicated to Management through the use of KPI's.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all assigned tasks, including, but not limited to:

* Knowledge of EMIR, CFTC, Canada Reporting
* OTC Derivatives product knowledge
* Investigate and resolve Intellimatch position match breaks
* Work with IT and Ops to identify the issues and resolve
* Categorize Breaks
* Report status and progress to Management through use of KPIs
* Analyzing processes to determine areas of improvement, working with team and managers to develop solutions and implement
* Organize and prioritize daily workload to meet regulatory deadlines.
* Perform User Acceptance Testing for enhancements to operating systems

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* EMIR Reporting experience - Trade Reporting, Delegated Reporting, Global Trade Repositories etc
* Solid Analytical skills
* Client service experience would be an asset
* Degree in finance/banking would be an asset
* Solid Excel knowledge
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
* Perform to high level of accuracy and have good attention to detail
* Ability to understand situations, determine issues, suggest methods of resolution & implement
