Deputy Director, Financial Governance & Control

Sand Resources are seeking a Deputy Director, Financial Governance
*Senior NHS Financial Accounting experience
*Management Accounting
*Preparation of Monthly and Annual Financial Statements and supporting documentation
*Preparation of NHS Trust Annual Accounts
*Preparation of Capital Scheme Information
*Experience of advising on capital accounting issues for capital investments
*Liaison with Auditors
*Management of internal audit contract
*Designing and Operating Financial Controls and Control Systems

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
*Strong knowledge of IFRS and the requirements of the NHS Financial and Capital Accounting Manuals
*Good understanding of the NHS Financial Regime
*Internal Audit Planning and External Audit Review Processes
*Risk management principles
*Financial Control Principles
*Good interpersonal skills/ability to convey financial information to non-financial staff
The post holder will paly a key part in the relationships between various organisations and stakeholders within the finance directorate so outstanding communication skill are required.
