Deputy Application Manager-ITIL-East London

Deputy Application Manager, ITIL is required by a Local Authority, Council based in East London

To provide support to the Application Manager during a scheduling system (MyOffice) implementation

The following skills/experience are required:

Experience of managing a system support service .

Experience of the systems life cycle

#61607; Testing Implementation

#61607; Maintenance and support

Experience of strategy development

Experience of systems support, and supporting major business application such as case management system, CRM or EDRMS in a multi-department directorate.

Experience of budget management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Understanding of CRM, EDRMS, Workflow

Network configuration and remote desktop sessions

Understanding of IIS setup and configuration

SQL Server 2005 reporting

Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005

Windows 2003 server

Understanding of Virtualised environment and clusters

N-Tier server systems

High availability (HA) and reliance (FOLB).

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Managing, assisting and supporting the team leaders in bringing all business application documentation up to date and in line with ITIL standards

Managing, assisting and supporting the team leaders with problem management Administrative support

To support the Application Manager in managing key corporate business applications and directorate applications where corporate ICT has responsibility for them.

To support the Application Manager in working with the business to ensure applications are meeting their need
