Depth Maintenance Chief

DEPTH MAINTENANCE CHIEF - NATO - Somerset
250-350 Euros - 6-48 month contracts

NATO requires a Depth Maintenance Chief for their Electronic Warfare Department at the RNAS unit in Yeovilton, Somerset. All candidates must have minimum SC clearance.

The Mission:
NATO' s joint electronic warfare core staff {JEWCS} is to provide NATO Commands and Nations with expertise, training and operational readiness under the NATO command and control process for EW projects UK.
You will report to the Engineering Officer JEWCS on site.

Principal Duties:
Supervision and line management of all depth maintenance personnel.
To act as systems engineering expert for all EW assets providing technical support and continuity to the EW engineering teams.
Project Manage equipment upgrades, look after hardware and software overhaul activities correctly document engineering developments.
You are responsible for training personnel such as technicians where necessary, assist JEWCS Engineering officer and technical insurance officer as required with determining technical specifications for NSIP funded equipment and procurement.

Essential Qualifications:
More than 7 years experience maintaining modern complex software dependent projects with experience in Microwave communication systems and supervising technical personnel.
Education: HND/HNC/or equivalent in electronics.
