Deployment Scheduler - Graduate

We currently have an urgent requirement for a Graduate Deployment Scheduler to undertake a short-term contract, initially lasting an estimated three months, at a Central London location.

The role will suit an individual who possesses strong project co-ordination skills and has previous experience of working within deployment rollout project. Your ability to communicate effectively with members of staff at all levels and the ability to solve problems is essential to the success of the role. As is your high level of organisational and time management ability.

Candidates will ideally possess a degree at 2:1 level minimum in any Maths, Accountancy, Business, Economics style degrees. 

This is an exciting yet demanding role that is vital to the success of the overall deployment project. Successful candidates will display a confidence in their ability as well as superb communication skills and approach the role with a high degree of professionalism.

A knowledge of Windows 7 deployment would be a distinct advantage as would previous experience of Project coordination, Scheduling or Lead deployment roles.

The role would be an idea 2nd or 3rd role for a recent graduate. 

In line with the required skills and responsibilities the pay rate for this role is fixed at £130 per day.

Key Responsibilities

- Scheduling global desktop deployments & account migrations.
- Maintain accurate deployment data in the deployment database.
- Send relevant Programme communications to users at the relevant times.
- Manage the BAU signoff process.
- Manage the Engineer rota.
- Manage the Programme Scheduling & Communications Mailboxes.
- Liaise with key stakeholders with regards to customer queries & scheduling issues.

Qualifications/Skills

- Previous Project Co-Ordination or Scheduling experience on a rollout project.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel & Outlook skills.
- Outstanding organisational & communication skills.
- Good general IT literacy.
- Previous experience working in a banking environment desirable
