DEPLOYMENT MANAGER/TECHNICAL PM - TABLET, WINDOWS 8, SCCM, ABSENCE
The ROLLOUT COORDINATOR is responsible for the operational aspects of the deployment; she/he works closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure the solution is delivered on time.
She/He coordinate and support the Local Rollout Managers to plan local rollout and ensure all procedures to prepare and conduct roll out are followed
She/He provides the interface between the various representatives of the IT4U project for the progress of the work near Salesco and Retail Project Manager. She/He is in addition responsible for the stock management according to definite planning and proper application of the disposal of old equipment procedures.
She/He assists the Fujitsu Project Manager in the realization of her/his reporting and operational tasks.
The various missions of the Coordinator are:
- Coordination of the actors, both Fujitsu and Bridgestone, of the deployment of the workstations on the Site:
- engineers, trainers, (local) deployment staff from the customer, user POCs
- Daily status point with Local Rollout Managers to:
- Update Elaboration of the issue log and risk register affecting the deployment of the Sites and planning
- Maintain the daily statistics with planned vs actual progress of the deployment follow-up
- The Coordinator is the point of contact for all tool input, output (reporting) and follow-up which can be delegated to other team members but under Coordinator's responsibility. eg ITSM CMDB; OSMQ (deployment tool), SNOW Trouble Tickets.
- The Coordinator ensure proper orders are placed to Augsburg and equipment delivered as planned to the sites:
- Application of Ordering process from User Input Sheets to Purchase Orders
- Coordination with the Technical Project Manager to check:
- Packaging are ready and tested on time for staging
- Staging is performed in Augsburg according to end users' needs
- Local Servers for selected sites are prepared for and sent on time
- Application and deployment methodology follow-up
- Validation and follow-up of the detailed planning
- Approvals of the documents if necessary
- Management and execution of the procedural document(s) and files
- Consolidation of all Local Stocks management of the hardware stock present in the staging room. Order timely new hardware with the Bridgestone region/site to avoid out of stock situations
