Deployment Lead

This is an immediate opportunity for an experience deployment specialist to manage the deployment of the new software with an international Platform Migration Programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Work closely with the Business Specialists and other platform workstreams to design all deployment documentation including deployment  plans, Business & Delivery Readiness Checklists, Business Checkout/Reconciliation for each business.
- Engage with the operating companies to work through the deployment documentation and ensure it is comprehensive, in line with strategy/vision and workable for each particular business.
-  Ensure each operating company is fully ready to deploy as per the agreed deployment plan and agreed deployment schedule.
- Responsible for managing the creation of all deployment deliverables ,ie deployment plans tailored to each business.
- Define the Command and Control' function that will govern the cutover weekends and the resources required. from the platform team, the business and third party providers ie interface providers, support functions, etc.
- Ensure excellent documentation standards are applied to all deliverables.
- Design the Business checkout/reconciliation process for the cutover weekend and work with the other platform workstreams, the business and operational functions (finance and risk) to ensure it is fit for purpose.
- Work with the Business Change team and Suppliers to ensure the Business Support Processes are clearly. defined and tested ahead of the deployments.
- Identify and prepare transitional processes that will occur during the deployment period.
- Define contingency and rollback plans in the event of a failed deployment.
- To execute the deployment plan for each business.
- Manage incidents when they occur and escalate when necessary through the agreed channels.
- Manage lessons learned reviews following each deployment and update documentation accordingly.
- Raise any risks or issues identified throughout deployment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Deployment/Implementation and change management experience.
- Strong governance discipline and attitude to documentation.
- High level of communication,interpersonal and people skills.
- Able to make well informed decisions or escalate when required.
- Able to work in a collaborative environment, managing multiple deliverables and deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
