Deployment & Configuration Management Officer (JAVA) - Brussels - 479

My Client an Investment Bank based in BRUSSELS, requires a DEPLOYMENT & CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER (JAVA).

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION   

Java applications:

- Build of the Web Java-based applications and promote in the different environment in the life cycle of Harvest.
- Organize the deployments of the applications in non-Prod environments
- Describe and update the process of deployments for the applications
- Organize the team working to ensure a good coordination with third parties during the releases in different environments.
- Ensure a good communication of the releases done in different environments
- Ensure the availability of the non-Prod environments

Non-Prod support:

- Manage the support of the non-Prod environments for applications delivered by the Software Service Center for ADM. Environment is composed of multiple technologies including Java WebSphere based platforms and other Windows platforms.
- Manage the support for resolving technical issues in collaboration with infrastructure stakeholders.

EDUCATION & SOFT SKILLS

- IT Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
- Team player.
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude.
- Good Communication and Influencing skills.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and
- multi-cultural environment.
- Flexible, accurate & control minded.

EXPERIENCE

- 3 years of experience in similar function
- Experience in build or deployment of applications

MANDATORY

- Java development
- J2EE under Eclipse or similar framework.

PREFERABLE

- ANT and MAVEN scripts
- HUDSON/JENKINS tools

LANGUAGES: Fluent French or Dutch and good English
