DEMURRAGE ANALYST: PAYMENTS & RECEIVABLES: WORLD LEADING OIL & GAS COMPANY

World Leading Oil & Gas Company has an exciting opportunity for a Demurrage Analyst and Negotiator to prepare and negotiate with external customers all demurrage, deviation and detention claims for all elements of the vessel charter party or oil contract deal.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Tracking of potential demurrage claims
- Gathering claim documentation, calculating lay time
- Negotiating final demurrage settlements
- Keeping accurate records of claim amounts and counterparties
- Identify trends and provide commercial feedback when appropriate
- Collaborate, problem solve and share suggested improvements with team members
- Provide analytical review of commercial performance and exposure to refineries and terminals as well as the chartering and operations teams.

ABOUT YOU:

- You should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Shipowners/Ship Management company
- Knowledge of governing demurrage terms and conditions for Oil Majors
- A thorough understanding commercial aspects and implications of demurrage claims handling
- Motivated and results driven with good interpersonal skills.
- Competency with MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Degree/Masters in Marine Transportation, Maritime Business Administration/Logistics,
