We are looking for a senior freelance Demandware web developer to join an ambitious and temporary E-commerce team. You and your colleagues will be responsible for a diversity of webshops, understand the importance of reliability of the stores and minimizing downtime. You are a coding professional.

Start: February 2014

Duration: 3 months, extension of assignment is possible

What will you be doing?

- Develop and deploy scalable and appropriate web site solutions using the platform's development framework;
- perform complete testing of all developed units and components including but not limited to browser compatibility handling and including regression testing;
- you will be up to date with the latest trends and developments, which inspire you to innovate solutions and ideas;
- assist the Agile/Scrum project manager on the release management process for all development tasks and projects.

What will be expected from you?

- You will be working within a lean and driven team that are fully engaged in supporting the high growth plans. Key to the role is being a team player.
- You have relevant experience in web development; 5 years experience in an E-commerce environment;
- you are using web development technologies such as Java and JavaScript;
- you have working knowledge of CSS, HTML, HTML5, PHP and XML;
- you have worked with engineering tools such as bug tracking and source code control systems.
