Demand Planning Analyst Job

DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in PRINCETON, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- 2 - 5 years Planning experience required
- Knowledge of SAP APO required
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Ability to analyze data and determine opportunities for improvement
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Candidate must be a professional team-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines
- BS degree required, preferably in Business Logistics or Supply Chain

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Demand Planning Analyst will use the Demand Planning Module in APO, SAP, IMS, Chargeback, Wholesaler data, and BI Reporting to create a 24 month rolling forecast for production planning
- Analyzing sales and consumption trends, marketing plans and assumptions, economic trend expectations, and inventory positioning will also be key aspects of this position
- Gather data from pertinent internal and external sources to create an accurate monthly demand forecast within strict timelines.
- Measure Forecast Accuracy and determine Root Causes behind forecast variances as well as communicate and take corrective action.
- Participate in monthly KAM Forecast alignment meetings and weekly Demand Planning/Supply Planning meetings to ensure clear communication regarding forecast variances and changes
- Liaison with Product Marketing relating to New Product forecasting, including updating APO with current projections
- Work closely with SCM to ensure forecasts are in-line with proposed timelines for re-launched products.
