Demand Planner/Supply Chain Analyst

My client, a blue chip business based in EGHAM is seeking a DEMAND PLANNER/SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST to join them in a contract to permanent capacity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START NEXT WEEK
- MUST HAVE STRONG KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH SAP R/3
- SUPPLY CHAIN BACKGROUND
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Good presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a pressurised environment
- Driven individual who is looking to progress their career

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain the SAP purchasing,scheduling and planning (ptp)
- Manage inventory to ensure efficient delivery
- Deputising for the SCM in their absence
- Monitor Data Management through the SAP system
- Ensure Standard of work is developed and maintained
- Keep operational transactions to a minimum in a clean condition
- Error corrections to be made using root cause analysis
- Management of open Production order,to ensure they are closed out accurately and quickly
- Improvements to the standard work will be expected in a controlled manner using the LEAN operating model and data analysis with statistical consideration, SIX SIGMA

PURCHASING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE:Maintenance of purchase data including:

- Contracts
- Raising new and maintaining suppliers on the system
- Analysis of supplier performance, delivery quality and cost

Reporting:

- Analysis of past months performance
- Preparation of KPIs with detailed explanation of deviations from plan and corrective actions to close out the delta.
