Our Client is an international operating company in the area of test systems for the semiconductor industry. For its location in Boeblingen it is seeking you as Demand/Strategic Planner - Lean Planning Industrial Goods (m/f) for an unlimited permanent position.

Demand/Strategic Planner - Lean Planning Industrial Goods (m/f)

Location: Bblingen

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:

* You will deal with short and midterm customer demands for the product portfolio in order to drive the right product mix
in the supply chain
* You will analyze the product portfolio quarterly based on demand patterns, material cost and product life cycle
* You will recognize and consider changes in demand such as product mix and market segments
* You will identify, analyze and recognize relevant trends/ changes in dependent demand
* You will be responsible for the trend-based planning (develop and decide trend-based plan based on business cycle)
including ongoing monitoring and evaluation of actual and forecasted demand against plan and buffer ranges to identify
and assess any short term exceptions under the various scenarios
* You will be as well responsible for the event-based planning (analyzing and monitoring drivers for products under event-
based planning (customer and/or application specific, individual product rollovers/customer)
* You will develop, evaluate and assess alternative demand/ supply scenarios for event based business cases, including
risk assessment, influencing factors, uncertainties, upstream/downstream dependencies, supply chain implications etc.
* You will lead and manage cross functional teams through event based demand scenarios and implementation
* You will provide individual scenario plan to Supply Chain incl. recommendation for inventories levels
* You will adapt industry leading planning concepts and strongly collaborate with cross functional key business unit
partners to get the best results

Your profile:

* Degree in Business Administration or similar
* Several years of professional experience in strategic planning, event planning, trend based planning, lean planning,
forecasting, account management and supply chain
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management and reporting tools (e.g. MS Excel)
* Knowledge and experience in advanced planning processes and methodologies
* Very good project management skills
* Experience regarding ERP systems and planning concepts
* Very good communication skills (cross-functional, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels and coordination skills
* Fluent English language skills written and spoken
