Large global organisation require a Demand Manager to work within Software Asset Management. The role holder will be responsible for managing and consolidating all the software demand coming from business and IT projects and programmes and working with PMs and sponsors to verify the software requirements, advising the costs to be factored into the business case.
Main Accountabilities:
-Engage with Project/Programme Managers to understand software demand, provide accurate budget estimates and track the same through the lifecycle of the projects.
-Create a tracker for software budget/requirements from all projects and work with procurement to consolidate demand for negotiation where possible to deliver savings
-Qualify savings made with finance and provide necessary licensing information
-Work with architecture teams to validate project requirements and appropriate software version to be used
