Application of Knowledge*
The client's supply chain is complex, due to the number of sites, regulatory variations, production variability, variety of products, and customers.
- The incumbent needs to understand this complex environment, and use that knowledge to challenge customers and internal stakeholders on demand and supply realistic options.
- In addition, the high volatility of demand and supply requires a constant analysis and strong analytical skills in order to anticipate disconnects and optimize production demand.
- Due to the high number of interfaces (commercial, customers, other SCSS functions) at different levels of the organization (up to director level) and with different regions, good communication and persuasion skills are required
Problem Solving & Innovation*
The incumbent will have to integrate commercial demand in the supply plans and propose an optimal supply plan to each customer, taking into consideration conflicting or highly variable parameters such as:
- Customer specific requirements (ex: specific product or phasing, specific market dynamic)
- Risk associated to demand (ex: probability to win a tender, forecast accuracy),
- Regulatory constraints (ex: timing of ongoing variations, for each market)
- Supply constraints parameters (ex: stock & capacity availability and lead-time constraints, provided by the end to end managers)
