Delta Rates Operations Analyst - 12 Months Contract

ROLE:-

- The Delta Rates operations team provide support to the Markets business located in the APAC and London.
- The role involves providing day to day support for Delta Trading in Tokyo in line with the Global Operating Models.
- Responsible for assisting the desk through the completion of the business run-off.
- Detailed knowledge of the front to back processes required to maintain a stable and controlled trade environment will be a necessity, as ensuring that all audit and control points are addressed for both existing and new products will be a main responsibility

REQUIRED SKILLS:-

- Understanding of the full front to back Operations process to include major elements of confirmations and settlements
- Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups ie Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Tax and Compliance
- Close liaison with the trading floor (both traders and business managers) to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of trader queries and on going development/projects.
- An advanced understanding of, and the ability to book, all relevant Delta Trading derivatives products. This will include Bonds, Swaps, Loans and Depos, Interest Rate Swaps, Inflation Swaps, Futures, FX, MTM Swaps
- Understanding of the cashflows of the business to ensure that these are accurately funded on a daily basis
- Understanding of System P&L process and basic P&L decomposition for all Structured products and systems used.
- Ensure all reconciliations and reports in the area are completed on a timely basis
- Ensure that the correct EOD processes are followed, including completeness and reconciliation checks
- Ensure that procedures and processes are always followed, and that the appropriate documentation is kept up to date
