DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER
The delivery project manager is responsible for the End-to-End Project Delivery in a global service organisation within the agreed budgets and timelines. The scope of work comprises the complete project life cycle from the set up phase through service transition to operations regarding the established project management framework. Most important is the sensitive and proactive stakeholder management within the service delivery chain and responsibility for project communication and alignment both internally and externally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility for end-to-end Programme/Project Management for services within the IT Service Transition department
Proactively manage key stakeholders, such as Managed Service Providers, System Integrators and further external Consultancies in the delivery chain
The preparation and coordination of deployments during implementation phase
Moderation of workshops between all stakeholders
Own the communication and alignment between the Business and the IT Service Transition Team
Coordination of necessary entities within the organisation eg Data Centre or Operational Teams
Steer the delivery of key operational requirements, incorporating them into the early phases of the project to ensure the project is compliant to the operational standards
Be accountable for operational readiness and transition to live operations for dedicated services delivered by IT Services
The contribution to the further development and improvement of the general Project Management Framework
SKILLSET:
Strong experience in project management
Strong service delivery and operational background
Major experience in IT Service provisioning
Strong communication and decision making skills and the ability to balance conflicting interests
Knowledge of operational procedures and process standards
Experience of working in large multi-national, Matrix based organisations
Hold Prince2, PMP or ITIL V3 Foundation
