Defect Coordinator

Our client is an innovative and people friendly organisation looking for a Defect Coordinator to join them on an initial 3-6 month contract to coordinate and align current defect tools in all agreed phases of testing for projects.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- Align current defect tools
- Chair defect prioritisation meetings, scheduling the appropriate resources and obtaining the required information
- Defect entry into vendor tools
- Assist internal development teams with priority of defects
- Manage and maintain accurate defect status and release information updates

DESIRABLE:

- Good knowledge of defect management tools (Bugzilla, MS Test Manager, Jira etc...)
- Testing background/knowledge including SIT/UAT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
