Seeking a highly motivated, top performing candidate to provide high-level technical support and direction for critical IT products and services. This role will support IT on a high-energy trading floor. Candidate is responsible for maintaining a full range of IT products and services including: server-based applications, desktops, voice, and mobile devices. Works closely with other IT members and teams to provide high-level technical support for all Trading related systems. Provides clients with in-person, fast, friendly, and accurate answers and resolutions to all technology related questions and problems.

Advanced support for key trading applications including NICE Systems (voice recording), IPC Trading Phone systems, Activu videowall, Actiance IM recording, Reuters, and market data feeds.

Prior trading floor experience or demonstrated high-level technical skills preferred. Please be prepared provide references. Candidate must be flexible to work 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM shift and earlier shifts/overtime when required.


- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two years' experience in Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- CompTia A+, Server+ and Network+ preferred
- Excellent communication and consultative skills, ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high demand environment with client and IT management and staff
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
- Self-motivation and ability to manage own workload
- Ability and willingness to work 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with flexibility to work earlier shifts and 24/7 emergency on-call when needed

In-depth understanding and demonstrated experience in Enterprise IT systems and technologies:

- Windows 7 Knowledge and experience
- MS Office Excel, Access, and Outlook (2007, 2010)
- Networking concepts and technologies
- Client Server Application concepts
- Desktop standards and patch management
- Active Directory and group policy behavior
- Virus protection, detection, and cleanup procedures

Nice to have:

- Prior trading floor experience
- Experience with IPC Trading Phone systems, NICE Systems, and/or Telecommunication solutions and terminology
- Experience with Blackberry
- Experience with MAC OS, iPhone, and iPad
- Experience with VBA and/or Macro development
