Edelway is a Pan-European IT Consultancy. One of our best clients, a global, pharmaceutical company based in Basel is currently looking for Decision Support Manager
THE ROLE
Support strategic decision making by analysing schedule, costs, and performance of Research & Development project and program portfolio and provide advice and strategic recommendations to senior management.
YOUR TASKS
*Plan and manage the implementation of competitively superior processes, data infrastructures, and systems for decision making support.
*Recognize opportunities, build case for change, and lead further development and improvement of project-, resource
*Manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including external support staff.
*Track costs and timeline changes for all project within one Therapeutic Area.
*Implement and maintain Balanced Scorecard incl. Key Performance Indicators for Drug Development Portfolio and Processes.
*Design training programs for new GDS associates
YOUR PROFILE
*Around 3 years of both, pharmaceutical industry experience and project & resource management.
*Strong knowledge of the overall global drug development process and knowledge of best industry practice.
*At least 3 years industry experience in planning, budgeting, and tracking financial and non-financial project data.
*Master or doctoral degree in life sciences or business administration
*Very good experience in web-based reporting and executive information systems.
NICE TO HAVE
*Experience in empirical field studies, performance measurement and benchmarking in Pharma R&D.
