Decision Support Analyst- Insurance/Underwriting

Our client, a leading insurer, requires a decision support analyst to work from their offices in Essex. Supporting the performance manager, you will be responsible for working closely with the underwriting and distribution teams in analysing and predicting portfolio performance.

Essential:
-Degree Qualifications in the business, commerce or other business related discipline.
-Two or more years in insurance industry, preferably in pricing and/or underwriting roles.
-Strong demonstrated knowledge of Insurance sector financial dynamics and metrics.
-A strong focus on delivery in a fast paced environment
-Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Strong degree of business acumen

Desired:
-Additional qualifications in a mathematical discipline.
-Previous Management experience, especially in the insurance sector.
-Knowledge of pricing strategies and methodologies.
-Knowledge and/or involvement in setting or monitoring financial plans and budgets
