- MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN DESKTOP SUPPORT FUNCTION.
DUTIES:
The selected candidate will work as member of the Network Security team and will be responsible for day to day operational activities required for maintenance and upgrade testing of CA Site Minder and two windows-based web applications. The candidate will work with Network Security and the application support teams as required to set up configurations for new users and assist vendor personnel with system maintenance and upgrades. The selected candidate will require minimal supervision and little training.
Candidate must have the ability to perform complex problem diagnostics and resolution, with or without established processes, by utilizing independent thought as well as knowledge of commonly-used industry concepts, practices and procedures.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software based running on Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and IIS 7.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Industry Certification, completed or in progress: MSCE, MSCA, CISSP
- Minimum Associates degree required. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Communications, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an enterprise level application, desktop, or Windows Server support environment
- Working knowledge of technologies and/or platforms such as Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL, DNS, TCP/IP and Networking Fundamentals.
- UNIX/Linux experience preferred-1 year minimum required
- Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making and leadership abilities.
- Prior working knowledge of Cyber Ark and Quantum Secure and CA site Minder preferred but not required.
