Client Description: An international company
Mission/Role
Our client is looking for a DBA SQL Server to ensure SQL Server expertise and maintain SQL Server databases applications.
You duties and responsibilities will also include:
- Provide Implementation of the SQL Server databases (2005, 2008) on IBM/AIX environment
- Ensure deadlines gaols
- Resolve incidents (SLA's)
- Ensure Change/Release management process.
- Provide databases monitoring, and tuning
- Establish control for Oracle databases and other systems (RDBMS...)
- Provide daily backup databases activities
- Establish support for deployment, upgrades and technical issues activities (Oracle DBMS)
- Provide 3rd level support to offshore team in India
Experience/Qualifications:
- Good knowledge and practice of SQL Server PL/SQL, RMAN and Oracle tuning tools is mandatory.
- Good skills in Oracle 10 & 11
- Skills in Oracle RMAN, Oracle PL/SQL
- Skills in AIX Operating System, Shell Scripting, Microsoft Office tools and ITIL methodology
- Fluent in English
